The Seamstress role will involve the stitching of commercial fabrics to be fitted to bespoke furniture. The chosen candidate will also be required to stitch cushions, back pieces, top stitch, double stitch, and overlock.
You will need to be able to work within a small friendly team but also independently to complete your workload within the time allocated.
Skills Required:
- Measuring
- 2 years min. contract furniture experience or similar associated industry
- Experience using industrial sewing machines
- Knowledge of a variety of sewing techniques
- Ability to manage your own workload and to meet daily and weekly targets
Experience:
We are looking for a candidate with at least 2-3 years’ sewing experience who can work under strict deadlines to the best quality.
Additional information:
Working hours, Monday – Friday 7.30 am-4 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
