Job Title – Bodyshop Estimator – Vehicle Damage Assessor
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the bodyshop manager you will be responsible for estimating vehicles that require body repairs and paintwork to a high standard.
- Ensuring estimates are produced in accordance with Manufacture methods but also profitable to repair.
- Liaise with workshop technicians for supplementary orders/parts on vehicles that are in progress.
- Obtaining final authorisation for completed repairs; liaising with insurance companies to gain authorisation for invoicing.
- Supply insurers with parts/sub contract details for audit when required.
- Assisting the bodyshop manager with duties involved in running a bodyshop
- Have experience in developing relationships with colleagues.
- Min 10 years of experience
- Ideally ATA/VDA but not essential.
- Ideally Autoflow experience but not essential
- Have the drive and determination to maintain a productive profitable department and the ability to work under pressure and achieve results through other people.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £45k-£50k OTE
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 45 hours per week
